Nick Zarazúa is a Transition Coach with the L@s GANAS program. His interest in higher education began when he was an AmeriCorps College Coach at College Forward in Austin, TX, where he advised students throughout the college application and financial process. Nick is committed to expanding college opportunities for students from all backgrounds and believes higher education is a powerful mechanism for individual growth and societal change.

Nick received his B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, his Master’s in Public Affairs from Princeton University, and his M.S. in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University. He has participated in numerous nationally competitive programs, including the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Program, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Public Policy Fellowship, and the Education Pioneers Graduate School Fellowship. Outside of the office, Nick is an avid film and book enthusiast and loves to explore Chicago’s many neighborhoods. Nick was born and raised in El Paso, TX.
